A little look back at the first two titles of *Gritli the Moth Diaries* by Florian ∞ Emden :
*A Mistake Has Been Made About Wildness* and
*A Mistake Has Been Made About Heartbreak*.
The books are part of an ongoing literary project in which the authors move between their own voices and borrowed ones, animals and humans, theory, observation and absurdity. Combining research and fiction, their writing brings together quotations, everyday observations and unexpected perspectives on subjects such as labour, companionship, shame and heartbreak.
Both books are part of *12×18 — Living Loving Literaturing*, a literary series by Colorama.
Unlike many of our Riso-printed publications, these books are offset printed, but still produced locally in collaboration with Berlin-based printing and production businesses.
And Gritli’s diaries are continuing! A third book, *A Mistake Has Been Made About Shame*, is coming in 2027. ♡
