📅 Save the Date: International Dialogue on Climate Adaptation Modeling in India

Climate risks are becoming increasingly complex – making stronger collaboration between science, policy, and finance more important than ever.
🤝 NITI Aayog and GIZ India will convene an international forum in New Delhi to explore how climate modelling can better inform adaptation planning and finance. It will bring together experts from government, research institutions, academia, think tanks, and the private sector to exchange experiences, foster interdisciplinary dialogue, and strengthen collaboration across sectors and countries. The discussions will also contribute to a comparative expert synthesis report on advancing the use of climate modelling for adaptation planning and financing.
📌 The conference is organized as part of the project “Climate Modelling and Adaptation Finance Support for NITI Aayog – Design of International Exchange Formats and National Climate Data Repository”. The project is funded by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by EarthYield Advisories GbR and IAK. Experts from both organizations will contribute to the program.
