لماذا يشعر كثير من المهندسين أن كل مشروع جديد يبدأ وكأنه أول مشروع للشركة؟
لأن كل مشروع يأتي بملفات مختلفة، ومستندات مختلفة، وظروف مختلفة.
لكن المشكلة ليست في اختلاف المشاريع.
المشكلة أن المعرفة المتراكمة داخل الشركات لا تتحول إلى نظام.
في كثير من شركات المقاولات:
الدروس المستفادة من المشاريع السابقة إما لا يتم توثيقها أصلًا،
أو يتم تسجيلها بشكل غير منظم،
أو تبقى داخل خبرات الأفراد فقط.

عندما يغادر أحد المهندسين أو مديري المشاريع الشركة،

فتجد الشركة نفسها تعيد نفس الأخطاء مرة أخرى.
شركات المقاولات تحتاج إلى طريقة أفضل لحفظ المعرفة التشغيلية.
نظام يسمح بتسجيل المعلومات، وتنظيمها، واسترجاعها عند الحاجة.
