Smart, social and sustainable projects for territorial development

This is the offical facebook's page of Consulta Europa Projects and Innovation, an SME specialized in European funds and European Project Planning and Management. We are especially engaged in Education, Environment and Sustainability, Energy, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Youth and Women's Empowerment and other key social development areas. Consulta Europa follows a holistic approach, which is not only based on funding, but also on 'volunteer' participation and in-kind contribution of resources, intellectual rigour, critical thinking, interdisciplinary and on a strong sense of social responsibility. Thus, from our main office located in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Consulta Europa has boosted local development and territorial innovation while acting as an "antenna" towards the EU institutions, through our branch office located in Brussels, in the heart of the district hosting the European Institutions, a few steps from the European Parliament.

🌍 Back together, recharged and ready for the next chapter of YOUTHSoftPOWER!

After a short — and definitely needed! — August break, the YOUTHSoftPOWER consortium came together again for our first online meeting of the new season. ☀️➡️💻

And one thing is clear: the months ahead are going to be busy, creative and full of action! 🚀

During our meeting, partners reviewed where we currently stand and coordinated the next important steps of the project, including:

✨ the upcoming YOUTHSoftPOWER Webinar Series
📚 the finalisation of our new interactive learning modules
💻 further development and improvement of the project e-platform
📢 dissemination and project communication activities
❄️ and the first preparations for our Youth Boot Camp in Finland

The consortium is now moving from preparation into an exciting implementation period, with new opportunities for young people to learn, participate, connect and strengthen their voice in society.

👀 So, what can you expect from us next?

Very soon, we will start sharing more about our webinars on youth participation, digital engagement, inclusion and leadership, new interactive educational resources and the activities that will bring young people from across Europe closer together.

September has officially started — and so has the next active chapter of YOUTHSoftPOWER! 💙

PT// Visita do programa BESTLIFE2030 ao projeto MARVEL
No mês de junho tivemos o prazer da visita da equipa do BESTLIFE2030 para se inteirar dos resultados iniciais do projeto MARVEL.
🌊🚤📷🐬 Na saída de mar conseguimos observar duas das espécies-alvo do projeto, baleias-pilotos-tropicais e golfinhos-roazes, e mostrar as diferentes vertentes do trabalho no mar, incluindo a foto-identificação. Obrigada pela visita!

In June we had the pleasure to receive the BESTLIFE2030 team to present the first results of project MARVEL.
🌊🚤📷🐬 During the field visit at sea, we managed to see two of the project target species, short-finned pilot whales and bottlenose dolphins, and show the different aspects of the work done at sea, including photo-identification. Thank you for the visit!

🌿 The team is in !

Across Madeira and Porto Santo, local organisations are taking action to protect some of Macaronesia's most remarkable wildlife and habitats and we're looking forward to seeing their work first-hand.

During their mission, they will meet conservation practitioners, monitor projects funded through the first BESTLIFE2030 Call, and connect with newly awarded projects from the second Call.

Among the projects they will be visiting are:

🦇 SOS BATS@MAC – helping conserve the endangered Madeira Pipistrelle and improving understanding of bat populations across Macaronesia.

🐦 MAC Puffinus – supporting the conservation of Manx Shearwaters and other seabirds that depend on the region's islands for breeding.

🐦 STOP Predators – reducing threats from invasive predators to vulnerable native wildlife.

🌊 MARVEL – improving marine environmental monitoring and protection of Madeira's offshore ecosystems.

They are also excited to highlight two newly funded initiatives:

🕷️ LAVA-LIFE – protecting Madeira's extraordinary lava tube caves and the rare endemic species that live in complete darkness beneath the island.

🐠 Unravelling and preserving the marine biodiversity of the Porto Santo Biosphere Reserve – helping safeguard valuable marine habitats and strengthen community-led conservation in Porto Santo.

Together, these projects demonstrate how local action can contribute to European and global biodiversity goals while protecting species and habitats found nowhere else on Earth.

🤲Many older adults live with loneliness, self-neglect or a gradual withdrawal from social activities.

Regular, group-based movement has been shown to help reduce loneliness, increase independence and support emotional well-being in later life.

👏In STEP BY STEP, tango becomes a weekly anchor – a reason to leave the house, meet others and feel seen, heard and valued.

🌍🇪🇺 YouthSOFTPOWER's 2nd Transnational Partners' Meeting in Patras, Greece

On 9–10 June 2026, partners from Spain, Türkiye, Finland, Ukraine, and Greece gathered in Patras for the 2nd Transnational Partners' Meeting of the YouthSOFTPOWER – Youth Engaged in European Soft Power project, hosted by Liofyllo Social Cooperative Enterprise.

During two productive days of collaboration, partners discussed:

🔹 The development of the Youth Advocacy Guide for young people
🔹 The ODA-SDG Digital Toolkit and awareness-raising campaign materials
🔹 Youth-led podcasts, vlogs, webinars, and video series
🔹 Interactive e-learning modules and the project's educational platform
🔹 Preparations for the upcoming International Youth Bootcamp
🔹 Communication, dissemination, and engagement strategies to maximize project impact

The meeting also provided an excellent opportunity for networking, exchanging good practices, and strengthening international cooperation. Participants additionally visited Coffee Island, gaining insights into innovation, sustainability, and corporate social responsibility.

A big thank you to all partners for their active participation and commitment. Together, we are empowering young people to become active citizens and agents of positive change across Europe. 🇪🇺
