Representation doesn't happen by accident.

Someone has to be first.

In 2020, Sasha Senior became the first Black woman to launch her own skateboard business in Canada.

But BOSSLADYSK8 isn't about breaking records.

It's about what it takes to build something when there isn't already a path in front of you.

The courage.
The uncertainty.
The work behind the scenes.

🎬 Every community grows because someone decides to create space for others.

What's a barrier you've had to overcome to pursue something you love?

Being a parent is hard.

Starting a business is hard.

Pursuing a passion is hard.

Now imagine doing all three.

One of the most inspiring parts of BOSSLADYSK8 is watching Sasha balance motherhood, entrepreneurship, and skateboarding while continuing to push forward.

Not because it's easy.

Because it's worth it.

🎬 Some stories inspire you because they're extraordinary.

Others inspire you because they prove what's possible.

Some people wait for an opportunity.

Others create one.

BOSSLADYSK8 tells the story of Sasha Senior, a skateboarder, entrepreneur, and community builder who refused to let the industry define her place in it.

What makes this documentary compelling isn't just the skateboarding.

It's the determination to create something that didn't exist before.

Sometimes changing an industry starts with deciding you belong in it.

This documentary isn't about dancing.

It's about refusing to quit.

Dancing Tired follows a competitive Bhangra team preparing for one of the biggest competitions in the U.S.

What happens on stage is impressive.

What happens before it is even more inspiring.

Exhaustion. Discipline. Teamwork. Sacrifice.

Sometimes the most powerful stories aren't about winning.

They're about showing up anyway.

What's something you've kept doing even when it got hard? 👇

The performance lasts minutes.

The preparation takes months.

What you're watching isn't just a dance routine.

It's the result of countless hours of training, repetition, exhaustion, and commitment.

That's what makes this documentary so compelling.

🎬 Behind every great performance is a story nobody sees.

When you're exhausted, motivation disappears.

That's why this moment hits so hard.

One dancer shares the mindset that keeps the team moving:

Look to the people beside you.

When they're still giving everything they have, you find a way to keep going too.

🎬 Sometimes perseverance isn't personal.

Sometimes it's collective.

At some point, every passion comes with a question:

Is this still worth it?

In Dancing Tired, the dancers face the same doubt many creatives, athletes, and artists know all too well.

The work gets harder.
The sacrifices get bigger.
The finish line feels farther away.

And that's when you find out why you started.

🎬 Some films aren't about winning.

They're about deciding to continue.

Some people quit when they're tired.

Others learn how to keep going.

One of the most powerful moments in Dancing Tired comes from a simple idea:

The difference between being good and being great isn't talent.

It's what you do when you're exhausted.

🎬 Sometimes growth starts when your energy runs out.

okay so nobody told me about Zeen and I feel like that was a crime.

in this false documentary there's a guy named Chad who directs, writes, produces, and stars in his own film. his crew is barely holding it together. the whole thing is in black and white (except when Chad's movie appears on screen. then it's full color)

also the lead plays someone who can't act. on purpose. brilliantly.

Zeen is directed by Calyx Passailaigue.

You can watch it in Renderyard

imagine The Office. but instead of a paper company in Pennsylvania, it's an indie film set in Canada

the boss casts himself as the lead.

the camera cuts to the crew for their reaction.

they say nothing. their faces say everything.

that's Zeen, a mockumentary about a filmmaker who is entirely too confident and a crew that is entirely too done with it.

Zeen is in our catalog this month. 🎬
