For those following the great engineer hunt, I managed to befriend 2 amazing Canon engineers yesterday, and we had a great time for 5 hours, just chilling and taking the machine apart.

In fact, we had so much fun together that we will be repeating the exercise later this week, or early next week - we just need to get a few more parts to see if that fixes the gremlins

Engineer update
One printer has been successfully repaired, and I am eagerly waiting for the other engineer to appear.

I have currently moved a lot of 'treasured stock' out of the way, and until the machine has been fixed there will be a few delays to certain items - depending on what I have moved where

If you see a lost canon engineer wandering the streets of Alton, feel free to send them my way 😆

For my avid followers wondering what I have recently broken...............

Well, I have excelled myself and decided to break/wear out 2 printers this week. So, rather excitingly, I get to see 2 different engineers this week 🤣

It's looking like I will have an engineer visit at some point on Tuesday and Wednesday, so as usual I will be closed for the duration so they have enough room to work

This annoucement will come as no suprise to many of you, but in my enthusiasm to complete as many jobs as possible over the weekend I may have overworked my printer slightly.

So, when the engineer arrives later this morning I will be closed until he fixes the printer, and once again tells me to be nice to the printer and don't break it (I won't listen and will overwork it again)

It's a Bank Holiday weekend, and I will be desperatly trying to achieve a bit of downtime once I have caught up on my planned jobs.

If you walk past the shop and notice the lights are on and I am buried in my computer, please pretend I'm not there and continue walking past.

The shop will reopen Tuesday morning from 8am.

Printer Update

The good news is that we know what I have broken (it's not a part off the shelf)

The bad news is that until the new part arrives I will only be able to do single sided black and white copies. But it is a big improvement on yesterday's situation.

Please bare with me while I try and work my way around issues.

Now, time to find some chocolate to make the stress melt away 🤣

Due to an issue with the printer I am currently unable to print on my copier.

We are just trying to diagnose how I have managed to break it this time 🫣

I was so pleased with myself over the Easter break. No, I didn't have any time off, but I did manage to finish all my end of year paperwork.
Or, so I thought.
It seems in my enthusiasm I may have missed some invoices, so if you are waiting for an invoice please feel free to chase me up on 😮‍💨
