Well, the good news after the machine installation is that it prints and copies beautifully.

The bit that got the engineers stumped was the apparent security features to make it extra secure, its so secure even we couldn't fully access some features.

So, the engineers will have to return to finish the job at a later date once they have done some research 🤣

Reminder, a new printer is being delivered tomorrow morning, so the shop will be closed while it is being installed

MACHINE UPGRADE

Due to my clumsy nature and my excellent ability to break printers I will be having a new printer delivered next Thursday morning 🤦

Therefore the shop will be closed on Thursday morning while the machine is being installed and I am given detailed instructions on how not to break this one.

There are 2 advantages to this, one, I can try and keep my shop a bit tidier for a week, and two, I get a new toy to play with 🤣

I know I've been quite quiet recently, and you guys are finally thinking - great, she is not breaking any of the printers - wrong

Due to my clumsy nature an engineer will be visiting this morning to assess how I have managed to break the printer this time - as usual, while he is here the shop will be closed

As many of my followers know, I have been attempting to work a few hours less hours this year.

To no-ones surprise, I have failed to achieve this, so onto plan B.

Plan B - to help me focus, I convinced/coerced 2 of my customers to install these roller blinds. If the blinds are down it means I am trying to finish some of the many jobs left over from the day.
So, if the blinds are down, please do not disturb.

I am due to have an engineer visit later today, so while I annoy him the shop will be closed to give him space to work

For those following the great engineer hunt, I managed to befriend 2 amazing Canon engineers yesterday, and we had a great time for 5 hours, just chilling and taking the machine apart.

In fact, we had so much fun together that we will be repeating the exercise later this week, or early next week - we just need to get a few more parts to see if that fixes the gremlins
🤣

Engineer update
One printer has been successfully repaired, and I am eagerly waiting for the other engineer to appear.

I have currently moved a lot of 'treasured stock' out of the way, and until the machine has been fixed there will be a few delays to certain items - depending on what I have moved where

If you see a lost canon engineer wandering the streets of Alton, feel free to send them my way 😆

For my avid followers wondering what I have recently broken...............

Well, I have excelled myself and decided to break/wear out 2 printers this week. So, rather excitingly, I get to see 2 different engineers this week 🤣

It's looking like I will have an engineer visit at some point on Tuesday and Wednesday, so as usual I will be closed for the duration so they have enough room to work

This annoucement will come as no suprise to many of you, but in my enthusiasm to complete as many jobs as possible over the weekend I may have overworked my printer slightly.

So, when the engineer arrives later this morning I will be closed until he fixes the printer, and once again tells me to be nice to the printer and don't break it (I won't listen and will overwork it again)
