Line 42 reset with some new mid grade routes.
Red 6a+, mint 6c, tan 6c+ all technical and will test your ability to read the sequence ahead before committing to it!
Ana was press ganged into testing the routes and reported favourably apart from the bit where her arms were ‘melting’! I assume from the pump as it wasn’t particularly hot yesterday 🤷🏻‍♂️

Resetting line 52, this line is a favourite of mine. I love the arguments over what angle it is! 😂
Anyway three interesting routes that climbers can enjoy with having to be superstars!
Orange 6a+, yellow a techy 6b/b+ and blue is a burly pinch fest at 6c+
Big shout out to James who was back on the ropes today and Liam from Cove Climbing who was finished first today (for a change 😉🤣)

Today’s challenge. Resetting line 9 came with a long list of requirements. Hope I have met those with the new white.
New purple (6a?), white (6c) and Yellow (7a)
Grades with a pinch of salt as I wasn’t able to test them today. Still washed out from my Norwegian manflu 🤦🏻‍♂️
Great to catch up with and chat to the guys from Advanced Climbing Solutions ltd who are in doing the annual inspection.

Hard day yesterday.
Hope you had a chance to climb on the tufas before they came down. If you missed them don’t worry they will be back at some point.
In their place we have a pink 6b with positive holds (not all ‘jugs’ though)
On Line 51 to the right the Purple YCS 7b and the white 6b+ are down and a red 6b+ is up along with a swirl route which might be hitting the 8a mark (disclaimer here that setting on the arête makes it hard to give an accurate grading 😃)

Comp round 2 routes are set and car park has been cleared by the helpful workmen from Robertsons.
Definitely a more accessible set of routes than round 1.
No excuse to not get down later in week and give it a whirl 😃
