Today, we would like to recognise and thank Tresslyn Smith as she retires from GoCrisis after many years as a valued Associate and member of our team.

Tress became part of the GoCrisis journey from the very beginning and was involved in the very first response in our company’s history, supporting a product safety recall in Australia.

Over the years, Tress supported countless contact centre responses with dedication, professionalism, kindness, and calm under pressure. Her contribution to our clients, colleagues, and the wider GoCrisis team has been deeply valued, and she will always remain a special part of the GoCrisis story.

Tress, thank you for your dedication, care, and support over the years. We are truly grateful for everything you have brought to our team and the clients we serve around the world.

With heartfelt thanks for all she has given, we wish Tress all the very best for the future. You will always remain part of the GoCrisis family, and we hope this next chapter brings you health, happiness, and special moments with loved ones.

GoCrisis Associate, Charlotte Hurley, recently had the opportunity to speak with students at University Centre Peterborough (UCP) who are studying BSc (Hons) Forensic Investigation.

Charlotte delivered a 3-hour session focused on Personal Effects and Disaster Victim Identification (DVI), drawing on case studies from her career in Emergency Response.

We are proud to be able to share real-world insights into the complexity, sensitivity, and importance of this work, and to engage with students preparing to enter the field.

Some of the most important moments in a person’s life happen when someone chooses to step forward and help.

During National Volunteer Week in Australia, we recognise the volunteers who provide support, reassurance, and human connection when it’s needed most.

While this week is celebrated in Australia, the impact of volunteering is universal. Every community benefits from people willing to show up during times of crisis and uncertainty.

As GoResponders, volunteers provide calm, practical, and timely support in moments that matter. The role is designed to fit flexibly alongside existing commitments while creating meaningful, real-world impact.
