Manor Farm Fused Glass 3hr Taster and One day workshops. Various levels are taught where you'll be creating a variety of beautiful fused glass items. No experience required.

To avoid disappointment it is best to telephone first on 07971480793 as work schedules at workshop vary. we+ run one day glass fusing workshops at various levels each week. This will include a Foundation Taster Course where you will learn to make various items of your choice including coasters, plaques, clocks, dishes, jewelery etc. No experience necessary as I will have items pre cut for you. I w

ill teach you the basics of cutting glass, but like so many things, it takes a lot of practice. This you could do at home at a later date if you get the bug by using a basic glass cutting tool and some window glass. You will learn on the Foundation Taster Course how to use glass powders, glass frit, (tiny pieces of glass) glass stringers, confetti glass, glass paints, copper foil, mesh and wire, stencils etc. You will be shown how to drill holes in glass and use a glass grinder to shape and smooth various pieces. We will also go through various firing schedules to show you the difference between a full fuse, slump firing and tack fusing besides many others. A great fun day is had!
