This fingerboard is up and down like a camel's back- so it will need to be spot levelled before I get it trued up.🐫

The fret slots are full of hardened glue so they need to be routed out.

Cracking wee Fret King Corona 60 SP in for a bit of work.

Refretted with Jescar Evo gold fretwire.

Hand cut bone nut.

Electrics serviced and cleaned and set up for 10 gauge strings. Action 4/64" across the board and neck relief dialed in at 0.09" 👊🏻😎👍🏻

Stunning Japanese Epiphone Les Paul sorted out for Dec Lán.

Some issues with the neck relief as well as a couple of rises in the fingerboard.
I was able to get the neck straightened with my trusty old neck heater.

The fingerboard was then levelled and radiused under string tension on the neck jig.

Refretted with StewMac #152 stainless steel wire.

Unbleached bone nut cut.

Electrics serviced and cleaned.

This 'beast from the east' is without question the heaviest guitar I have ever worked on....... 😱🤦🏼‍♂️

Absolutely cracking wee Strat build sorted out for 'The John Mayall Project' guitarist Ted Lynch.

1980's Squier Japan neck which I refretted with StewMac #152 stainless steel wire.

Hand cut bone nut.

Wilkinson 2 pivot bridge installed.

Full wiring harness plus a set of Tonerider pickups.

Routed out for a humbucker in the bridge position and all fitted to a 42ND Street body.... 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

SG - fingerboard levelled on the neck jig.
Refretted with StewMac stainless steel #152 wire.
Electrics serviced and cleaned.

Les Paul - frets levelled and dressed on the neck jig.

Both set up with 9.5 gauge strings. 👊🏼

Custom build Strat sorted out for Dea Matrona guitar player and total legend Dec Lán.

Fretted with medium jumbo frets.

Hand cut bone nut and saddle.

Seymour Duncan (Hugo's wee brother!) bridge pickup installed.

Six point bridge pulled out and a Gotoh two point bridge fitted - including a bit of routing.

Set up for 9 gauge strings.

Catch Dec on the new Dea Matrona UK/Ireland tour which starts tomorrow or on Wednesday.... 🤷🏼‍♂️
