Its come to my attention that some doubleglazing companies are still continuing to over charge people🤔 a certain company is advertising window repairs from £120 😂😅🤣, looks like thats their min charge.
With window repairs it could be various problems, so heres the breakdown of what i charge.
Window that has a gap when closed, well thats hinges which from me start at £50 fitted, the bigger the hinges the more it costs.
A window that is stuck locked; i always check the handle 1st as it can fail, a handle starts at £20 fitted.
If its not the handle then its the gearbox which starts at £60 fitted.
Sealed units "misted glass replacements" they are priced per square metre, the cheapest being a clear fanlight which is £50 fitted, there are many types: clear, obscure, toughened clear, toughened obscure, then there are leaded glass, Georgia bar etc... all of which are priced per metre, so how can this company say repairs from £120, ill leave that thought with you guys 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
