To take a clear photo of the full moon on an iPhone use this popular video capture trick.

Open up the camera app and switch to video mode

Zoom in as far as your iPhone’s telephoto lens allows

Tap on the moon on your screen to set focus

Lower the exposure by dragging down the little sun icon beside the focus box until the bright glow disappears and the surface details pop out

Press record on the video and keep your hands as steady as possible (or use a tripod) and tap the white shutter button in the corner to snap a photo while still filming

Once the photo is in your gallery you can edit/ adjust the sharpness and contrast to your taste.

Have you used Instants yet? Not quite a story, it hangs out in the bottom right corner of your DMs.

Sometimes my microphones don’t always automatically connect to my iPhone. So I always like to do a test before hand. Then if it hasn’t connected I’m at least aware. Sometimes I need to unplug and plug it back in again (a classic) other times I need to restart my phone 🫠

Anyone else experience this with the wireless II not connecting to iPhones?

Favourite brain wave I’ve had while I’m speaking at social media workshops: I hand out my phone to someone in the audience who looks like good craic and ask them to film me speaking for a bit.

Sure you never know what footage you might get!
