📸 Great prints start with great pictures!

One of the most common challenges are images that are too blurry, pixelated or low-resolution to print clearly.

An image might look perfectly fine on your phone, but when it's enlarged for printing, those tiny imperfections can become much more noticeable!

✨ Here's how you can help us get the best results:

📷 Send the original image – Avoid screenshots or images saved from social media, as these can lose quality.

🔍 Bigger is usually better – Send the highest-resolution version you have, especially for larger prints. a good starting point is around 2500 pixels, but even that is only good for prints the size of a piece of paper.

📩 Avoid compressed images – Where possible, send your images as original files rather than through apps that may reduce their quality.

🎨 Got a logo? – A vector file (such as an SVG, AI or EPS) is ideal because it can be resized without losing sharpness.

🤔 Not sure if your image is good enough?

Don't worry! Send it over and our team will be happy to take a look and advise you.

After all, we want your finished print to look just as good as you imagined! 💙

From a damaged photograph to a treasured keepsake!❤️

On Saturday morning, a lovely customer popped into Fantasy Prints with a photograph of her grandson.

She had kept the photograph beside her cooker for many years, and unfortunately, over time, it had become badly damaged and discoloured.

She asked if there was anything we could do to save it.

We scanned the original photograph and set about digitally repairing the damage, bringing this precious memory back to life.

Once restored, we professionally printed the photograph and supplied a lovely frame, ready for her to take home and enjoy for many more years.

Sometimes it's not just about restoring a photograph, it's about preserving a memory that means the world to someone.

Take a look at the before and after – what a transformation!

A big thank you to our customer for giving us permission to share her grandson's photograph.

Have you got an old, faded or damaged photograph tucked away? Pop into Fantasy Prints in Berwick-upon-Tweed and see how we can help.
