Musician PG Fast Food has officially opened its doors, bringing its bold, nostalgic and playful take on fast food to the heart of Glasgow.
PG Fast Food opened today, March 5th, in the Glasgow West End and is located at 182 Byres Road, Glasgow, G12 8SN.
After months of anticipation, Glaswegians can now get their first taste of the PG’s innovative menu, choose the iconic ‘UFO’, Rice or Salad and load with nostalgic recipes such as All-Day Cheesy Beano, BBQ Chicken and Mi-So Salmon.
Customers can also try PG’s unique ICE Grapes, with toppings ranging from Naked, Agave and Tajin to more indulgent choices such as Unicorn and White Chocolate Raspberry.
PG Fast Food will be the home of the Dirty Soda, choosing from signatures such as Toffee Caramel, Hot Glasgow Kiss and Dr Bramble. There is also a ‘Create Your Own’ option, letting customers choose a base drink and customise it with flavours, creams, purées, caffeine, drizzles, and foam tops.
Musician Professor Green said: “Seeing PG Fast Food finally open its doors feels
honestly unreal. What started as a nostalgic idea rooted in love for food is now a
real place, full of life. It’s always been about proper, delicious food, no pretending,
just better fast food for every moment.
Opening in Glasgow makes it even more special. The energy here is unmatched, the warmth of the community and the way people get behind ideas. The reaction so far has been incredible. Seeing people’s faces when they try a ‘UFO’ or a Dirty Soda for the first time, that buzz is everything. It’s indulgent, it’s fun, and it’s completely unpretentious, that’s what PG Fast Food is for me”
PG Fast Food Byres Road will offer its customers Takeaway with Click C Collect and in the near future Delivery.
PG Fast Food is the latest Hero Brands QSR brand in its portfolio and has been co- created with musician and documentary-maker Professor Green. The new brand brings a fresh approach to food in the UK’s QSR scene, delivering a bold, nostalgic and playful spin on fast food. Its mission is simple, to make fast food better without pretending it always has to be healthy, serving honest, comfort dishes with a modern twist.
