Your workspace should work for you ✨

One of our Bicester members put it perfectly - and we couldn't agree more. There's something special about walking into a space that just feels right, and we're so proud of the atmosphere we've built at TownSq.

If you've been thinking about trying a coworking space, why not come and see what all the fuss is about?

Drop us a message to arrange a free day - a chance to try it for yourself and see how productive you can be.

Half of self-employed workers who took time off sick last year went back before they were ready.

Not because they'd recovered. Because they couldn't afford not to.

That's from the DWP's own research, published January 2026. No sick pay. No occupational health. No HR. No one to pick up the slack.

Just them. Holding all of it. Alone.

And here's what that does over time: when there's no structure around you, no processes that run without you, no community catching you when things wobble, it's very easy to start believing the chaos is you.

That you're not cut out for this. That everyone else has it more together.
They don't. The system just wasn't built for you.

But here's what we know from working with thousands of freelancers across the UK: when you get the right foundations in place - sorted processes, reliable support, and people around you who genuinely get it, everything changes.

Not just how your business runs. How you show up. The rates you charge. The clients you go after. The opportunities you stop talking yourself out of.

Because brilliant people deserve better than burning out quietly.

People are already searching for what you do.

The question is whether they’re finding you.

Google Ads can be a brilliant way to get in front of people with intent - people who are actively looking, comparing, researching or ready to buy.

But it can also become an expensive guessing game if you don’t understand the basics.

This session is designed to help you get clearer on how Google Ads works, where it fits into your wider marketing, and how it can support business growth without wasting budget on clicks that go nowhere.

How to Grow Your Business with Google Ads

Meta ads are not just about pushing buttons.

And they’re definitely not just about boosting the odd post and hoping for the best.

The businesses that get better results from paid social usually have one thing in common: they understand the creative.

- The message.
- The offer.
- The visual.
- The hook.
- The reason someone should actually stop scrolling.

In this session, we’ll look at how to approach Meta ads in a more creative, practical and strategic way, so you’re not just spending money — you’re learning how to make your ads work harder.

The Creative Way to Run Meta Ads in 2026

The average UK business owner spends 15 hours a week on admin.

That's nearly two full working days. Not on growth, not on clients, not on the work only you can do - on emails, scheduling, invoicing, and everything else that quietly swallows your week.

It's one of the reasons businesses stall. Not because the demand isn't there. But because the person running the business is buried in the operational detail that comes with it.

The founders we talk to don't have a growth problem. They have a capacity problem.

And it's usually not the big stuff that causes it. It's the accumulation, the tasks that individually take twenty minutes, but collectively take your Tuesday.

There's a version of your business where that layer is handled. Where you get your time back and put it toward the things that actually move the needle.

It starts with being honest about where your hours are really going.

May had plenty going on across TownSq 🌟

📍 Hereford – Shell Store welcomed artist Anita Marles for an exhibition inspired by the Canary Girls, alongside a history talk exploring the building’s fascinating wartime past. We also wrapped up another successful Start Up Club.

📍 Kingston – More new members joined the community, making the most of riverside workspace, fresh connections and great views.

📍 Bognor Regis – The Track hosted Light Up, bringing together the creative and digital community for an evening of networking, art, music and inspiring conversations. Members and families also enjoyed rounders and pizza in the park.

📍 Bicester – Perch became a film studio for a few days as George James Ltd. created new training content. We also welcomed some very special visitors – Billy and Poppy 🐾

📍 Devon – The Node team joined a charity golf day organised by member Accord, helping raise over £1,000 for North Devon Hospice.

📍 Tunbridge Wells – Town Hall welcomed local businesses and organisations for another fantastic networking event with 7oaks Chamber.

And of course, May’s big highlight was the TownSq Business Expo, bringing together businesses from across the community for an afternoon of networking, talks and new connections.

Looking for a workspace, community or support to grow your business? Come and see what’s happening at your local TownSq.
