In an emergency, every second counts.

But a panic button must be reliable, not just fast.

Accidental presses can trigger false alarms, waste response time and undermine confidence in the system. But a button that is difficult to access when needed is just as ineffective.

The Ajax DoubleButton helps installers strike that balance with a design that prevents accidental activation, ensuring alerts are sent intentionally.

It connects to the Ajax system via the encrypted Jeweller wireless protocol, making installation straightforward without additional cabling. It can be wall-mounted, desk-mounted or carried, with black and white options to suit different environments.

In busy corridors, plant rooms and warehouses, an alarm must do more than make a sound.

Background noise, distance and closed doors can make audible warnings harder to detect.

The C-TEC ActiV Wall Sounder VAD combines an audible alert with a visual alarm signal, helping ensure warnings are communicated through both sound and sight. Its deep base also provides additional space for cable terminations, making installation more straightforward.

A practical solution for fire alarm systems where clear, effective alerting matters.

Outdoor installations demand equipment built to withstand the elements.

Rain, dust and changing temperatures can take their toll on fire alarm equipment, making the right level of protection essential when specifying a sounder for exposed locations.

This C-TEC wall sounder features an IP65 rating, offering protection against dust ingress and water jets. It is a practical choice for installations where environmental exposure is a key consideration.

When a fire breaks out, not everyone will see the danger.

In corridors, stairwells and busy buildings, a clear audible warning can make all the difference in alerting occupants to act.

A reliable fire alarm system needs the right sounders to help ensure warnings can be heard when they matter most.

At ADK Security, we supply the C-TEC Activ Conventional Wall Sounder in red, with a deep base, to support effective fire alarm installations.

Replacing an existing fire alarm should not leave the ceiling looking unfinished.

Old fixing holes, marks and uneven surfaces can spoil the final result, even when the new installation is perfectly sound.

The C-TEC Retrofit Decor Plate provides a simple solution.

Fitted between the ceiling and the device, it conceals old fixings and surface marks for a clean, professional finish without the need for remedial work.

Less time spent making good, a neater installation, and a better finish for your client.

A fire alarm warning needs to be seen and heard.

In noisy environments or areas where occupants may not hear an alarm, audible alerts alone may not be enough.

The C-TEC Activ Conventional Wall Sounder combines audible and visual alerting in one unit, helping make fire warnings more noticeable when they matter most.

For installers, it means a practical wall-mounted solution that delivers both alerts in a single device.

Fire alarm systems often need to do more than detect and signal an alarm.
Door holders, ventilation systems, shutters and plant equipment must also respond, while the panel monitors their status.

A compact interface unit makes this easier, with a switch input for monitoring and a relay output for control, it allows ancillary equipment to be connected to the addressable loop, helping reduce additional wiring and simplify installation.

Its low-profile design also makes it suitable for installation in tight spaces, close to the equipment it serves.

A perimeter alarm is only as effective as its ability to distinguish a genuine intrusion from everyday movement around an outdoor site.

Birds, falling leaves and blowing debris can all trigger false activation, creating unnecessary call outs and site visits.

A twin-beam design helps reduce this risk, both beams must be interrupted simultaneously before an alarm is triggered, filtering out small or brief interruptions while reliably detecting a person crossing the protected line.

With a detection range of up to 60 metres, it is well suited to protecting boundaries, yards and access routes while helping installers reduce nuisance alarms and unnecessary call outs.
