We were thrilled with our wedding cake, superbly made by Alison at Peony Rose Cakes. It looked and tasted fantastic on the day - evidenced by the many compliments people made and the large number of guests who tucked into seconds.
Alison was great right from the start. We didn't have a clear idea of what we wanted both in terms of design and flavour but with her guidance, expertise and patience we came up with a cake that was just right. Alison's suggestion of an additional 'kitchen cake' to speed up serving was was also inspired, especially as our speeches overran on the day.
The whole process could not have been smoother - thank you Alison.
