Firstly, HELLO to all our new followers 🙋🏿‍♀️🙋🏼‍♂️ There seem to be quite a few of you lately, so welcome to our little Cockney and Caribbean® corner of the internet 😂❤️

And thank you to everyone who’s been here rocking with us already. We genuinely appreciate every follow, comment, share, ticket bought and person who supports us 🙏🏻🙏🏿

We thought we’d have a little face-to-face catch-up because 1. We haven’t in a while and 2. there’s a LOT happening over the next week…

We still can’t quite believe we’ve got this person 😭🔥 and we have a feeling some of you are going to be VERY happy.

Back to school… and for Carnie, it’s his LAST YEAR 😲💙

The last weekend of the summer holidays for this one. In fact, his last ever school summer holidays 🥹

I genuinely cannot tell you where the time has gone. Everyone always tells you to cherish every moment because they don’t stay small for long, and suddenly I understand exactly what they meant.

It all seemed to go by so quickly.

He used to look up to me… and judging by the height of him now, I’m the one looking up to him 😂💙

So proud of the young man you’re becoming, Son.

One last school year. Let’s absolutely smash it 💙

EARTH, WIND & FIRE at a LONDON PUB TAKEOVER… just LOOK at this room! ✨🙌🏽

Another little moment from our Bank Holiday Sunday at the Edgar Wallace… and this one has to be dedicated to Tom. 😂❤️

Tom runs the nights from the pub side of things and there is ONE song he always asks Danny for, Fantasy by Earth, Wind & Fire.

Sometimes Danny remembers.

Sometimes… he absolutely does not. 😂😂

But Bank Holiday Sunday he remembered, and judging by this reaction, Tom might have a point!

Everyone singing, smiling, hands in the air and just completely together. ❤️

These are the moments we love capturing at a Cockney and Caribbean® London Pub Takeover. Different people, different backgrounds, all brought together in a London pub by music we all know and love.

And Fantasy is just one of those songs, isn't it? ✨🎶

LONDON PUB TAKEOVER + BAD MANNERS… you already KNOW what happened next! 😂🙌🏽🔥

Bank Holiday Sunday at the Edgar Wallace and Danny drops Lip Up Fatty… the whole room absolutely ERUPTS. 😂

Hands in the air, everyone singing, Danny singing along behind the decks, this is exactly the kind of moment we LOVE at a Cockney and Caribbean® London Pub Takeover. ❤️

Soul will always be at the heart of what we do, but our parties have never been about staying in one musical lane. Rare groove, old school hip-hop, 90s R&B, reggae, ska, lovers rock and more… if it feels right in the room, Danny’s playing it. 🎶

And judging by THIS reaction, a bit of Bad Manners definitely felt right! 😂🙌🏽

We’ve shown you some of the madness from Brixton, but now it’s time to show some love to our Bank Holiday Sunday Edgar Wallace crowd. What an atmosphere. ❤️

Recovering from the Bank Holiday weekend the only way Danny knows how… PIE & MASH 😂🥧

It’s been a while, but apparently there is still a very specific ritual that must be followed… and after all these years, I know it well enough to do a pretty convincing impression 🤣

The smell. The first taste of the liquor. Pepper. Vinegar. More pepper.

I thought I’d nailed it until Danny took over my leftovers. And then, naturally… more pepper and vinegar 😂

Not sure how MY ketchup on a roast got dragged into it?! 😭😂

So… how did I do with my Danny impersonation? Did I get Danny spot on? 😂👇🏽

Lovely little Carnival link-up with Nat & Ish

Within minutes of meeting the conversation somehow turned into their love of pie & mash 😂

Of course it did!

Lucian twins, raised in East London, who love their Caribbean culture AND their pie & mash… there might be a little more Cockney and Caribbean® in common here than we realised! 😂❤️🇱🇨

Really lovely meeting these two in person. We had to get a photo of Danny with his new Saint Lucian brothers 😂 and then, of course, I jumped in for the selfie.

We bumped into so many lovely people, and a few people stopped us to say hello too 🙋🏿‍♀️🙋🏼‍♂️

NOTTING HILL CARNIVAL 2026, CELEBRATING 60 YEARS! ❤️💛💚

Just a little snippet of our day at Carnival…

Basically 90 seconds of us hearing tune after tune🎶

After the Bank Holiday weekend we’d already had, we genuinely didn’t know where we were going to find the energy, but we couldn’t let 60 years of Notting Hill Carnival pass without being there.

And we’re SO glad we went! ❤️

We made our way over to the legendary Saxon Sound, found our spot and spent the afternoon doing exactly what we came to do. Listening to music, singing, dancing, eating, drinking, and just enjoying Carnival. 🔊🔥

It was lovely seeing so many people out enjoying themselves, different generations together, good energy everywhere and that unmistakable Carnival atmosphere.

And after spending Saturday and Sunday providing the music and watching everyone else dance at our Cockney and Caribbean® parties, Bank Holiday Monday was OUR turn! 😂🙋🏼‍♂️🙋🏿‍♀️

So here’s a little glimpse of our Carnival 2026…

🚨 HARD LAUNCHING OUR SPECIAL GUEST DJ… 😂🔥🎧

❤️

For the FIRST time ever, we brought another DJ into a Cockney and Caribbean® London Pub Takeover, and we weren’t about to trust just anybody with our dance floor! 😂

For us, it was never about simply adding another DJ. It had to be someone who understands our crowd, knows what’s going to make them MOVE and can bring something different while still complementing everything Danny does.

And yesterday in Brixton… HE ABSOLUTELY SMASHED IT! 🔥🔥🔥

This moment says it all. The tune drops, the crowd are singing, the dance floor is moving and somehow Danny and I are actually on the dance floor TOGETHER enjoying our own party! 😂❤️

That NEVER happens!

Usually Danny is behind the decks and I’m running around doing everything else, so being able to have a little dance together at our own event was a moment for us too. 🥹

And that’s exactly why we chose Buttery Hotness. We knew when he was on the decks, we could relax, trust him with our crowd and actually enjoy some of the party ourselves.

Brixton got the first taste yesterday… if you were there share your love for our guest DJ in the comments 🙏🏻🙏🏿

It’s Bank Holiday Sunday, Notting Hill Carnival is celebrating 60 years and we’re going again with Danny AND Buttery Hotness on the decks. 🎶🔥

Today’s London Pub Takeover is SOLD OUT, so there are no tickets or payment on the door.
