The first shy flowers are beginning to open.

So far it’s just a single bloom on one Kernling truss, with a few more showing across the Pinot Noir and Cabernet Noir. Madeleine Angevine is still keeping its powder dry.

It’s another early season, which is surprising after the chilly spell we’ve had over the last ten days.

Now we need some warmth. ☀️ Vines can flower in cool weather, but fruit set is much happier with sunshine than with the cool, showery conditions currently on offer.

For now, we’re watching and waiting, hoping summer gets the hint…

Exciting! Final check on the 2025 Pinot Noir Rosé before hand-bottling by Ned and Paula in the Oatley micro-winery. And It’s a Go!

Can’t wait for its release! Once it’s bottled it needs its independent quality check and analysis and then when its quality status is confirmed, labels to be printed. So a couple of weeks or so yet…..

Summer opening is here! Weekends 12-4 for sales, taste-before you buy, wines by the glass or chilled bottle to drink overlooking the vines. Free parking and tasting, dogs welcome.

You can also book private tastings or a private picnic spot in the vines for a self guided tasting. Details on our website, link in bio.
