Retirement doesn't have to happen on a particular birthday.
For some people it's stopping work completely.
For others it's going from five days to three, changing careers, travelling more or simply having greater choice.
Thinking about what you want retirement to look like can make the financial planning around it much more meaningful.
Because "retire at 65" isn't really a plan. It's a date.
