At this rate, we’d like to offer some free advice and recommend that everyone carries a fire distinguisher in their vehicle — also known as a fire extinguisher. 😂🔥🧯 Better to have one and never need it!

☀️🚗 SUMMER DRIVING ADVICE – PLEASE READ & SHARE 🚗☀️

The roads appear to be absolute carnage in this weather. Traffic is heavy, journeys are taking longer, and motorways such as the M25 can be an absolute nightmare.

We’d like to offer some FREE advice to our customers, followers and anyone else who sees this post.

🌡️ Summer vehicle checks are just as important as winter checks. Before setting off on a long journey, we highly recommend:

🔧 Get your coolant level and cooling system checked
❄️ Make sure your air conditioning is working properly
🛞 Check your tyres and pressures, including the spare if you have one
🛢️ Check your oil and other fluid levels
🔋 Make sure your battery is healthy
🧊💧 Personally, I highly recommend taking a couple of frozen bottles of water with you. They’ll gradually defrost during the journey, meaning you’ve got cold drinking water available if you end up stuck in traffic for hours.
📱 Keep your phone charged and ideally carry a power bank

With traffic as bad as it is, you could potentially be sitting stationary for hours, so prepare for the journey rather than assuming “we’ll be alright.”

A relatively inexpensive summer check could prevent a very costly breakdown — or being stranded at the side of the motorway in extreme heat.
