Are you a caring, compassionate person who enjoys helping others live independently in their own homes?

We are looking for dedicated Community Carers to support clients across a 10-mile radius of Burgess Hill and Haywards Heath. This rewarding role allows you to make a real difference in people's lives while helping them maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life in familiar surroundings.

What You'll Be Doing:

✅ Supporting clients with daily living activities
✅ Encouraging and promoting independence wherever possible
✅ Assisting with personal care, meal preparation, and medication support
✅ Providing companionship and emotional support
✅ Helping clients remain safe, comfortable, and confident in their own homes

We speak to families across Mid Sussex every week who have been carrying something heavy for longer than they realise.

A son or daughter who is doing everything they possibly can, holding down their own life while quietly keeping track of someone else's.
Someone who has always valued their independence deeply, and who knows, somewhere, that things are beginning to shift.

What we've learned is that it's rarely one big moment that brings families to us. It's the accumulation of small things.

The worries that surface first thing in the morning. The sense that something needs to change but not quite knowing where to begin.
Home is made of those small things. The routines, the preferences, the things that make someone feel like themselves. When the right support is in place, those things get to stay. 💜

Veteran news anchor Jon Snow has shared that he’s living with Alzheimer’s disease, the most common form of dementia.

Jon was diagnosed in 2023, two years after stepping down from his most famous role presenting Channel 4 News.

He and his wife, neurologist Dr Precious Lunga, are now speaking publicly for the first time to help raise vital awareness of a condition affecting around 1 million people across the UK.

Thank you to Jon and Precious for supporting Alzheimer’s Society, and for their courage and openness to bring much-needed attention to dementia 💙
