📣 Calling all Burntisland’s small business owners!

As a business owner myself, I get asked by my clients frequently;

“Do you know anyone who does…?”

And honestly, quite often I don’t know who to recommend. I know there are lots of people running small businesses in Burntisland, but I don’t know who they all are or what they do.

That’s why I’ve created Burntisland Small Business Community — a group specifically for people who live in Burntisland and run their own small business.

Whether you’re home-based, mobile, freelance, creative, a tradesperson or provide a local service, you’re welcome.

The group is about:

🤝 Connecting with other local business owners

💬 Ask questions and share advice about running a small business

📣 Shout out and promote one another

🔄 Give and receive local referrals

📱Help each other with social media and getting our businesses seen

❤️ Support other local businesses rather than feeling like we’re doing it all on our own

I’ll also be setting up a public page for our local small businesses, giving us a place to showcase, and promote what we do and, importantly, somewhere local people can go when they’re looking for a service.

The idea is simple: if someone in Burntisland needs something, they should be able to find out who can help them right here in Burntisland.

I’d love to bring together as many of our small businesses as possible — including the ones I might not know about yet!

I’ve been keeping busy lately looking after some lovely cats, and it really is the best job being trusted to care for people’s furry family members while they’re away. 🐾 ❤️

I know personally how much easier it is to enjoy a trip when you know your cat is happy at home, sticking to their usual routine and getting plenty of attention while you’re away.

Today we’re remembering a very special boy in the Home Sweet Purrs family, Tibby 💔 💛

Tibby loved the great outdoors and was always off on an adventure. He loved watching the birds, exploring and living life on his own terms. As much as he loved his adventures, he also adored his home comforts - finding a cosy spot for a long peaceful nap. One of my favourite things was when he’d settle down for a cosy sleep while I stroked his head. He’d purr the whole time — such simple, special, quiet moments we always shared. ❤️🐾

It has been such a privilege to know and care for him since the very start of my business and he will be deeply missed.

Sending lots of love to his family at this incredibly difficult time. Run free, handsome Tibby 🐾🌈
