Protection that works quietly in the background.

This Men’s Health Week, small, practical choices can make a real difference to everyday comfort.

The SureDry range for men is designed to support a range of needs, from light to moderate bladder weakness through to heavier incontinence.

Ultra-thin shields offer a discreet option with a super absorbent core, while pull-up pants are shaped like regular underwear with built-in absorbent pads, elasticated waistbands and anti-leak cuffs to help keep everything secure.

Each option is made to be comfortable, easy to use and reliable, so you can get on with your day without added worry.

A first for Wales and a step forward for men’s health.

Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service has taken a practical step by becoming the first in Wales to install male incontinence bins across its sites.

In total, 26 bins and 11 product vending machines have been introduced across 56 locations.

This supports men living with incontinence, including those affected by prostate cancer, and is part of our BOG STANDARD campaign in partnership with Prostate Cancer UK.

It’s a simple change, but one that helps ensure people have access to the right facilities when they need them, with dignity.

As highlighted by the service, it’s about breaking stigma and setting a new standard for workplaces.

One unsafe disposal decision can put people at risk 💉

Sharps waste, from needles to scalpels, can cause serious injury and infection if it isn’t handled correctly.

That’s why UK regulations require businesses to manage and dispose of sharps safely using approved containers and a licenced provider.

This World Blood Donor Day, it’s a timely reminder of the importance of safe practices around needles and sharps.

Our fully managed sharps service helps you stay compliant and manage sharps waste safely. It includes:
📦 The supply and replacement of appropriate sharps containers
🚛 Scheduled, compliant collections
📄 Full documentation and digital records for audits
✅ Support to meet duty of care and CQC requirements

Whether you handle large volumes or just a small number of sharps, the right approach helps protect your staff, your patients and your wider environment.

What if something as simple as a washroom bin could help someone feel confident leaving the house?

BOG STANDARD, created by us in partnership with Prostate Cancer UK, sets clear guidelines to help businesses and public spaces provide washrooms where men can dispose of incontinence waste with dignity.

Research shows:
- 78% of men feel anxious about accessing disposal facilities when leaving home
- 64% have missed major life events
- 58% say their mental health has been affected

It’s about helping men feel supported wherever they are, at work, out with family, or in public spaces.

Would your washroom meet BOG STANDARD?

A more sustainable service can start with how it’s delivered.

This Bike Week, we’re highlighting the role e-cargo bikes play in supporting more sustainable service visits across our urban locations.

Alongside electric vehicles and on-foot servicing, they form part of a broader approach to reducing environmental impact, from cutting mileage to lowering emissions.

With thousands of service visits carried out every day, these changes matter. They’re part of our wider commitment to reducing carbon emissions and working towards our Net-Zero target by 2040, while helping you build a more sustainable supply chain.

How is your organisation approaching more sustainable ways of operating?

Happy Pride Month!

At phs, we believe everyone deserves to feel safe, supported, and able to be themselves, whoever they are.

Pride is a moment to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community, but also to recognise the importance of creating environments where inclusion is built into everyday experiences.

That’s why we focus on practical actions, from improving access to period products for anyone who needs them, to supporting people to dispose of hygiene waste with dignity. Because inclusive washroom spaces matter, especially for those who can often feel overlooked or excluded.

Creating equality is not just about awareness. It is about removing barriers, reducing stigma, and making sure spaces work for everyone.

Inclusion is everyone’s responsibility, and Pride is a chance to learn, reflect and take action.

This World Ocean Day, it’s time to rethink what happens after the flush.

Every day, millions of sanitary items, from wet wipes to period products, pass directly into our waterways, harming wildlife and polluting our oceans. In the UK alone, 2.5 million tampons and 1.4 million pads are flushed down the toilet each day.

At phs, we feel strongly that there’s still enormous scope to help stop this. How?

♻️ By having a phs bin in place to dispose of waste responsibly, the hygiene waste we collect from our customers is diverted away from landfill thanks to our LifeCycle Strategy and partnerships with energy-from-waste networks, helping power homes, schools, businesses and communities.

🗑️ Through our exclusive partnership with FabLittleBag, we are encouraging people to bin, not flush.

🌊 We are contributing towards cleaning up the planet’s oceans by producing floor mats from ECONYL brand, a durable nylon yarn made from discarded fishing nets recovered by volunteer divers. After use, our mats are recycled for equestrian wear or converted into refuse derived fuel for energy.

This World Ocean Day on 8 June, join us in protecting our oceans.
Make a small change that makes a big difference. Choose to bin, not flush.

This World Environment Day, we’re not just talking about sustainability. We’re delivering it.

At phs, doing the right thing for our customers and the environment is built into everything we do.

We’re working towards Net-Zero emissions by 2040 and have committed to science-based emissions reduction targets across Scope 1, 2 and 3.

From a cleaner fleet with electric vehicles and zero-emission e-cargo bikes, to smarter routing that reduces mileage and fuel usage, we are actively decarbonising our operations.

Through our LifeCycle Strategy, we are diverting 95% of our customers hygiene waste from landfill to energy-from-waste facilities, helping power homes, schools, businesses and communities, with around 74,000 tonnes processed every year.

Our impact goes even further:
• Reducing single-use plastic and packaging with recycled and sustainable materials
• Recycling discarded fishing nets and plastic bottles into durable floor mats
• Helping stop sanitary waste polluting waterways through binning, not flushing
• Developing sustainable products like our ReVive range made from up to 100% recycled materials
• Improving indoor air quality while reducing VOCs and waste

Our focus on innovation means we are creating practical, scalable solutions that help protect the environment and support our customers’ ESG goals.

This World Environment Day, partner with a business that’s taking action today for a more sustainable tomorrow.
