It was a pleasure to fly Mario Mario Jorge recently. He stopped by the Aircraft Restoration Co. hangars for servicing of his aeroplane, which he is currently flying solo around the world.

He certainly wasted no time during his brief stop at Duxford; completely enthralled by the warbirds around him, he took to the sky in our newest two-seat Spitfire and flew alongside ‘RK’ in his Bonanza a couple of days later.

Mario departed Duxford earlier in the week and we wish him all the best on his incredible adventure!

Launch from Duxford and witness first hand the true beauty of the Spitfire in her natural environment.

Available for two or more people, take off in formation and depart into open airspace to experience the beauty and capability of a classic British fighter. Conduct elegant tail chases or challenge your wingman to a dogfight, the choice is yours. You will still have time in your own aeroplane to experience aerobatics and a feel of the controls before joining back up with your fellow warbird for a close formation return to base.

This was our biggest sortie yet - SEVEN ship White Cliffs of Dover experience!

Featuring FOUR two-seat fighters (Spitfires PV202, PT462, Hurricane BE505 and Mustang Tall-In-The-Saddle)

Single seat legends Spitfire Mk.1a N3200 and Hurricane Mk.1 R4118 also joined the party, unbeknownst to three of the four passengers!

They met up with Taz the Harvard for a couple of photo passes before being bounced by intrepid foe Hispano Buchón (Yellow 10) for a coastal defence dogfight... yet another surprise element of the sortie.

This was a complete bespoke package, imagined up by a very creative customer and made reality in house, here at Aerial Collective. We are privileged to be able to offer experiences in and alongside these historical fighters, all of which are rigorously maintained in the hangars.
