👋 Meet the Team: Lucy Smith
This month, we're introducing Lucy Smith, a valued member of the Billington Outdoor team who joined us in June 2025 and has quickly become an integral part of the business.
Lucy has one of those roles where no two days are ever the same. From sales and customer service through to logistics, supplier management, stock ordering and warehouse support, she helps keep multiple areas of the business running smoothly.
Like many of us, Lucy starts her day with the most important task first... ☕ coffee! After that, it's time to tackle emails, check stock levels, place orders, chase deliveries, manage accounts and support the sales team with whatever they need.
When asked what she enjoys most about working at Billington Outdoor, her answer was simple:

Lucy describes the team as fun, dedicated and friendly, which perfectly captures the culture we're proud to have built.
Growing up, Lucy considered a few different career paths, including becoming a hairdresser, solicitor or even a personal shopper. While her career journey took a different direction, her passion for organisation and working with people shines through every day.
Outside of work, Lucy enjoys:

🍝 Favourite comfort food? Pasta. Although she admits a Chinese takeaway is always hard to resist!
