"It's a wrap"
Last Thursday saw Samaritan Protective Services complete our 02nd international task of 2026, which on this occasion I also supported directly from an event risk/security management perspective on behalf of one of our corporate clients!
In the lead up to, and during this event, the World Defense Show in Riyadh, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦, which is one of the biggest events in the world with an off the scale footprint, there there were a wide range considerations and challenges to take into account!
With the added dimension of tensions in the region, the intelligence picture both pre, and during the event were critical, so Samaritan VIGIL proved again to be useful supportive tool. Ultimately the most important considerations were around ensuring life safety for the attending company employees, and those persons visiting our booth.
Other considerations included, the security of assests, including significant factors such as 'hostile foreign actors', of which there were many, seeking to obtain information, or data from either physical assets, or intervening in a way to either obtain information or intelligence around 'Intellectual Property'.
All in all, a successfully delivered event with our function playing a small, but critical part of our clients global strategic objectives!
