COMPLETED IT MATE: Yesterday was an emotional one. 25.6 miles covered in 9.5 hours, from Chelmsford to Mersea Island, all in memory of Adam. It started out wet, dried up along the way, and eventually turned into perfect conditions.
Along the route, I had some surprise encounters that really spurred me on; particularly my Aunt at mile 17, who coincidentally happened to be staying in the area this week, and then Adam's brother, Dave, who travelled over 3.5 hours to support me. Safe to say, that was an emotional encounter.
The support from family, friends and clients has been phenomenal. Not only have your kind messages meant so much, but your incredibly generous donations to my chosen charity for the walk, Butterfly Effect WELLbeing CIO, have been amazing too.
As of this morning, we've collectively raised a staggering £775.00, an absolutely phenomenal amount. The page is still open for donations and also shares some of Adam's story, as well as information about the incredible support Butterfly Effect Well Being provides.

Once again, thank you all. This feels like a great way to lead into Su***de Prevention Month in September, continuing to raise awareness, share resources, encourage conversations, and help reduce the stigma surrounding mental health.
