I think we’ve been stopping the visibility conversation too soon.
There’s so much noise about being more visible. And yes, I’ve spent years helping business owners find the right ways to get seen, get in front of the right people and create more opportunities.
I still believe in all of that.
But I’ve realised there’s another question we need to be asking.
What are people actually getting to know about us when we ARE visible?
Visibility isn’t the goal.
The goal is to be known for the right things, by the right people.
We don’t need 50 more visibility ideas.
We don’t need to be featured in random directories that no one uses.
We don’t need a sponsorship opportunity that gets our logo seen but tells people nothing about who we really are, what we’re brilliant at or why somebody should choose us.
We need to know what we want to be known for, and be able to communicate it to the people who need to hear it.
Because you can be VERY visible and still be hiding in plain sight.
And that’s exactly what we’re going to work on in Find Your Distinctive Edge, my free 4-day challenge running 28 September - 1 October.
If you’re good at what you do and you’re already putting yourself out there, but you don’t think the way you’re currently known reflects the quality of your work, comment EDGE to come and join me 💛
