And just like that Harvest 2026 is completed.
With the last of our grapes bought in yesterday Chardonnay 93oe (22.3brix) & 7.3ta. This beautiful fruit has now started its journey through the w**ery to produce our first still Chardonnay.
Such amazing fruit this year it not going to disappoint.. while 2026 has produced some serious challenges for growers around the country with late frost in May and the driest year on record we at Thorrington Mill have been so fortunate.
We escaped the worst of the frosts being so close to the sea and with our soil, aspect, hight above sea level the vines have thrived in the hot, dry conditions.
Our best growing conditions so far (said the same in 2025) just barmy weather.
What a vintage. **e # thorringtonmillw**es If you would like to try any of our w**es from previous vintages see the link to our online shop below.
