Apprentice Opportunity in Rolvenden Layne
JOIN OUR WORKSHOP TEAM!
We’re looking for a hands-on, creative person to join our friendly team at The Bespoke Sign House here in Rolvenden Layne.
We’ve handcrafted over 25,000 bespoke slate, granite and limestone signs to date, each one made to order and sent across the UK and beyond. Our work has featured at the Chelsea Flower Show, and we’ve collaborated with well-known brands such as what3words.
This is your chance to join a growing workshop that mixes traditional craftsmanship with modern techniques, and to learn it all from the ground up.
As a Signage Technician Apprentice, you’ll learn to cut, engrave, paint, and finish our stone signs, and dispatch our work safely to customers worldwide.
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am–4pm
• Apprentice Salary: £16,000 (Year 1) → from £18,000 (Year 2)
• Level 3 Signage Technician qualification through Walsall College, with one paid day a week of online sessions
• Future prospects: a permanent role is likely once you qualify, with £24k-£28k+ and growing responsibilities
If you enjoy making things by hand, love practical work and want to build real skills in a creative trade, we’d love to hear from you.
