Flamingo GBB rubbers are the go to for most, due to best performance.
An AEG Flamingo hop rubber is gonna be an absolute game-changer if they're anything like the GBB ones.
Will definitely be trying this when it releases
So as many of you know, one of the projects I've been dipping in and out of is an AEG Flamingo.
It's been one of my longest running projects due to the sheer volume of barrels, nub, nozzles, chambers etc that require testing.
I've thrown a ton of time and money at it over the years, often letting it sit on the back burning while I crack on with other stuff.
Last year I was determined to get it done, so I set out with a plan.
I had a design, a material, prototypes and some testing under my belt already, what I didn't have was access to the huge variety of platforms and the various parts out there.
Now, I'm lucky enough to know Luke over at Negative Airsoft, who everyone knows has an incredible wealth of knowledge when it comes to AEG's. Luke & I talk fairly often anyway, so it naturally came up in conversation that I was working on the AEG Flamingo.
After a good chat, Luke was happy to help with the project in return for some buckings for himself, which I was more than happy to do.
Over the last 12 months, we've both been sending the samples out to testers or using them in builds for real world feedback and making changes/revisions as needed. We've just received the final production samples, which have been sent out.
Feedback has been good across the board and we're just weeks (fingers crossed) away from release.
Availability wise, there will be the standard pink AEG Flamingo, which will be available through all the usual folks who stock my stuff both retail and B2B, With Negative Airsoft having his own green version (The "F-BOMB") which he'll be selling direct on his store and using in his builds.
