👑 PEST PATROL RECRUITMENT REMINDER! 🎨
🎨 🖌 Could your child create the next member of the Rat King Pest Patrol? ✏️
⚠️ We’re inviting children across East Sussex to design a friendly character who can help us share fun pest facts and simple prevention tips with other children
🏆 One valid entry will be drawn at random to become our Patrol Leader and win a Pest Patrol Bug Hunting Kit!
Four more characters will join the official team as:
👑 Technician’s Pick
💛 Rat King Family Favourite
😂 Funniest Character
💡 Cleverest Pest-Proofing Power
Superheroes, animals, robots, magical creatures and preschool scribbles are all welcome. Grown-ups can write down the child’s character name or special power for them.
📧 To enter, a parent or guardian should email a photograph of the drawing to:

Please include the child’s first name, East Sussex town, character details and confirmation that we have permission to adapt and share the drawing. You can also choose whether we may use the child’s first name, otherwise we’ll give their character a special Patrol name.
❗️No photograph of your child is required, and entries won’t be shared publicly until after the competition closes.
⏰ Closing at 8pm on Sunday 20 September 2026.
