Pizza and English w**e at Fan Fan | Best pizza in Great Missenden | Gerrards Cross - Great Missenden.

Thursday 3 December - 7.30 to 9pm

We’re bringing three English landscapes to taste for the evening - sandstone in the High Weald, chalk in the Chilterns and clay in Essex - with glasses from each and stories of where the fruit grows.

Freddie and the FanFan kitchen are doing the food: sharing plates to go with each w**e, included in your ticket. Expect a few things from their menu and perhaps a couple of extras 🍕

Which should we open?

Rosé 2024: 100% Oxfordshire pinot noir, aromatic and interesting

Coral Rosé 2024: Essex chardonnay and Pinot N blend. Crisp and delightful.

We're rosé-all-year-round kind of people! 🍷

Summer very definitely still feels here this weekend, for those who prefer quaffing outside ☀️

With nutritionally deficient vines that hadn't been tended all that much over the last couple of years, they were really showing signs of stress in these drought conditions. 🍁

We've taken the somewhat disappointing decision to drop a load of our fruit, which means we could be limited in the grapes that we get from our Dreaming Squires vineyard this year. ✂️

In the interest of the health of the vines for the next few years, we felt, after taking some advice, that it was the best decision all round. 🏥

We can't just think about the current year, got to think about the future as well if we're actually going to make a success of this small part of Vyn's approach to w**emaking. 🍷
