Herefordshire Wine Producer Wine has been produced in Herefordshire since Medieval times. We at Paunton Court are very happy to maintain this tradition.

Our vines are grown on a gentle south facing slope in idyllic English countryside. The grapes are lovingly tended to take full advantage of the best of the sunshine and are picked at the peak of their condition. We produce a range of white wines to suit all tastes from dry to medium sweet. They are light and fruity, and should be drunk slightly chilled. They are ideal as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to fish or white meat.

The first grapes of our 2026 harvest were picked today, starting with our Madeleine Angevine for Tim Wildman DRINK THE 🌈

Like so many vineyards across the UK, we can’t quite believe how early harvest has come around this year after all that heat ☀️

But we’re very excited to have the picking season underway again - here’s to harvest 2026! 🍾

We’re back for h.Art 2026! 🎨🍷

We’re so pleased to be opening the w**ery doors again for Herefordshire Art Week, 5–13 September.

The w**ery will be filled with work from an incredibly talented group of local artists - come and explore the exhibition, meet the artists, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of our vineyard. You can make an afternoon of it with tea, coffee, a glass of w**e, or even a vineyard tour! 🍰🍷

Our final vineyard masterclass of the year, and what a way to finish…! 🍷

A huge thank you to Ryan from for leading a brilliant summer pruning workshop. It was fantastic to learn so much, ask plenty of questions, and put that knowledge straight into practice amongst our Pinot Noir vines.
