All our wines start four miles from the sea in Herstmonceux but we work with growers across the south east, each bringing their own soil and slope and sea air so every wine has its own character before it even reaches the winery.

New arrivals at Henners.
Bacchus 2024 - elderflower, grapefruit, with a zesty citrus finish.
Barrel Chardonnay 2025 - only made in the years that earn it, with orchard fruit vanilla and creamy mineral edge from six months in French oak.

Triage at Henners.

Tirage [pronunciation: tir-ahj] Tirage is the step in making a bottle-fermented sparkling wine when sugar and yeast are added to the blended still wine. The wine is bottled immediately, most commonly under crown seal.

Henners was in every glass as 600 guests celebrated The King’s Birthday at the British Embassy in Madrid on 10th June.

This year’s theme was sport - fitting, with World Cup buzz building and F1 newly landed in Spain. The night was also part of something bigger: the UK Government’s GREAT Campaign, promoting British trade and culture on the world stage.
It was a chance to properly welcome Vintouch Wines, our new distributor in Spain, and their Madrid team - alongside mayors, ministers and ambassadors who all raised a glass.

English sparkling wine, holding its own in very good company.
