After 23 incredible years, today we say goodbye to Terry Wright as he begins his very well-earned retirement.

Terry joined Alltrade back in 2003 and, over the years, has become a huge part of both the company and the Alltrade family.

For more than two decades, Terry has led our Hemel Hempstead branch with an incredible amount of pride, commitment and dedication. He has always treated the branch as if it were his own, building fantastic relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues along the way and helping to make Hemel one of the most successful branches in our network.

But 23 years can't really be summed up by sales figures or business achievements. During that time, Terry has served and supported thousands of Alltrade customers, many of whom have been dealing with him for years and, in some cases, decades. Those relationships have always been a huge part of what Terry brought to Alltrade. We know there will be an enormous number of customers who have appreciated his help, advice and friendship over the years, and we're sure they will join all of us today in saying thank you, Terry, and wishing him a very happy retirement.

Terry has been a loyal colleague, a trusted friend to many and one of those people who has simply become part of Alltrade. There are countless people, past and present, who have worked alongside Terry during his time with us and will have their own stories him.

On behalf of everyone at Alltrade, I want to personally thank Terry for everything he has given to the company over the last 23 years. His loyalty, hard work and friendship have meant a great deal to me personally and to all of us.

Terry, you leave with our enormous gratitude and very best wishes. I hope retirement brings you plenty of time to enjoy yourself, put your feet up occasionally, and most importantly, enjoy a long, happy and healthy next chapter.

You will always be part of the Alltrade family.
