A quick before and after from a repeat customer.

The hedge hadn’t been trimmed for two years and was well overdue a tidy up. The Eucalyptus also needed a good few metres taking off to keep it looking tidy and prevent it from outgrowing its surroundings.

Tree removal doesn’t always have to mean completely felling it.

Following a tree survey, this mature beech at a local cricket club was recommended for removal.

Instead, we suggested retaining a 40ft standing monolith, reducing the risk to nearby roads and properties whilst preserving valuable deadwood habitat for insects, fungi, birds and other wildlife.

All brash was chipped on site, with the timber left for the club to clear over winter.

A few photos from a forestry job we completed up on Dartmoor a few weeks ago.

After gaining the required felling licence, we were tasked with removing a row of trees which had become too large, with the risk of them blowing over towards the neighbouring houses now considered too high.

A few snapshots from start to finish consisting of the felling, different machinery at work, timber being removed and all brash chipped, leaving the site clean and tidy on completion.
