Skelton Woods Environment Group SWEG is a registered charity (No. 1083435) working in collaboration with Leeds City Council.

Our group of volunteers help maintain the Skelton Woods community woodland based in North East Leeds. Skelton Woods Environment Group (SWEG) run regular work days on a Saturday. These are open to everyone and tasks involve maintaining the woodland space. Committee meetings take place regularly to discuss woodland management. Please contact us if you are interested in volunteering or attending a meeting.

Persimmon Homes have confirmed they have secured a full road closure of Skeltons Lane, Whinmoor, ๐—ณ๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐—บ ๐Ÿฎ๐Ÿณ๐˜๐—ต ๐—๐˜‚๐—น๐˜† ๐˜๐—ผ ๐Ÿฐ๐˜๐—ต ๐—ฆ๐—ฒ๐—ฝ๐˜๐—ฒ๐—บ๐—ฏ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ.

We have finally been informed the closure between the Coal Road mini-roundabout and Skelton Woods is required to enable the installation of new drainage infrastructure.
