Automated Tracked Sliding Gate Installation 🚧

We're pleased to share another successful project completed by the FBS Hörmann team, involving the installation of a new automated tracked sliding gate to enhance site security and access control.

As part of the project, our team carried out repairs to the existing groundworks prior to installation, ensuring a solid foundation and reliable long-term operation.

🔒 Safety was a key focus, with the gate installed fully compliant and featuring:

✅ CAT3 safety edges
✅ Dual-height photocells
✅ Flashing warning beacon
✅ Emergency stop functionality

To further improve site safety, run-back fencing was installed around the gate mechanism, helping to eliminate potential hazards and provide a secure enclosure for the moving gate. In addition, impact protection bollards were installed to safeguard the new equipment from accidental vehicle contact.

The gate is primarily operated via a push-button station located within the main warehouse, with a key switch positioned on the main gate door allowing operatives to safely control access when working within the yard area.

Another fantastic project delivered, providing our client with a secure, reliable and fully compliant access solution tailored to their operational requirements.

We're delighted to share the successful installation of a Hörmann SH100 automated barrier, providing our client with a reliable and secure vehicle access solution.

The installation was supplied complete with an adjustable pogo tip support and LED boom lights, ensuring enhanced visibility and stable operation in all conditions.

🔒 Safety and convenience were key priorities, with the barrier equipped with a FEIG radar system, providing both safety protection and free-exit functionality for vehicles leaving the site.

To streamline visitor access, a GSM intercom system was installed, allowing drivers to quickly contact site personnel for entry approval. In addition, 10 key fobs were programmed and issued, providing authorised staff with simple and secure access.

👷‍♂️ As with many of our projects, all associated groundworks were carried out by the FBS Hörmann team, delivering a complete turnkey solution from groundwork preparation through to final commissioning.

Another successful installation helping our client improve site security, control vehicle movements, and enhance day-to-day operational efficiency.
