Signalise Innovative platform co-op uniting BSL/English Interpreters, Deaf people and others to deliver better video and face to face interpreting services

19/06/2026

This is Signalise, and this is community. 💚

Olive and Jen had a absolutely brilliant time last month connecting with everyone at the expo, including some very iconic attendees!

They spent the day sitting down, catching up, and talking to people about how we can build a better system together. Our repurposed chairs featuring the Signalise hands design made the perfect spot to sit and chat. It was really lovely to see so many familiar faces and meet new ones.

Moments like these remind us exactly why we do what we do. Our co-op is powered by the community, for the community.

Enjoy some highlights from the day!

Will you be attending the online this weekend?

Our Business and Development Manager Jen will be speaking on Sunday about 'Social Value in Action: What International Models Teach Us About Building Fair, Community-Led Interpreting Systems'

Drawing on a Churchill Fellowship, Jen will examine models where Deaf people are central to decision-making, interpreters are supported as professionals, and social value is embedded throughout commissioning and service delivery. The session will contrast these approaches with systems driven by cost-based procurement and fragmented workflows.
