🤩We are incredibly proud to announce that our written evidence has been officially accepted and published as part of the inquiry Early Years: Improving Support for Children and Families.

Alongside this post, we have shared A.A. Milne's "Halfway Down the Stairs" as this is how this moment feels.

We are halfway there. We have climbed far enough to see some progress, but there is still work to do. It could go either way, but today we celebrate this step! 🥳

Fo the Nanny industry to be included in the national early years conversations is all we have ever asked for, and we are deeply proud we have reached this point. ❤️

Our submission highlights the urgent issues facing the nanny sector:

➡️The need for fair entitlements across the sector, including nannies and perhaps a tax relief for families employing nannies, instead of being included in the current funded model. (as we all know this what not compliment nannies)

➡️The pressure caused by the current government funding model

➡️The importance of consistent regulation and safeguarding across all childcare providers

We hope our points will be carefully considered as the Committee continues its work. Whatever the outcome, we are proud to represent this incredible profession and to show the wider audience just how special the nanny community is.

⚠️ Urgent recall: M&S baby sleepbag

M&S is recalling its Stripe 2.5 Tog Baby Sleepbag due to a strangulation risk. The neck opening is too wide and does not meet UK safety standards.

The product was sold online and in M&S Clothing and Home stores.
