Lakes are one of the most vital natural resources on our planet as they are a source of fresh water supporting drinking water, food security, agriculture, industry, supplies, and biodiversity.

Water is also critical to power artificial intelligence where billions of cubic meters of fresh water are required annually to cool the servers powering AI computations. Industry estimates project that the Global AI demands for water could increase rapidly over the next few years.

Let's take a moment of gratitude this Thursday for the sparkling natural resource critical to human life.
