The lovely team at Cancer Research UK Shops in East Sheen are aiming to raise an extra £1,400 in the next 6 weeks for Stand Up to Cancer’ and they’d love your support.

Jane, the manager of the shops says “Cancer changes lives, and so do we. Your cash will support researchers to get new tests and treatments across the line faster, so more lives get saved. Dig deep and donate, because if we work together, we can beat cancer at its own game”.

You can pop in and have a go on their tombola, buy a t shirt, add £1 to your purchase, donate by scanning the QR code on their window - and we’ve also heard talk of a cake sale! However you can help, please do.

Pictured here is Audra, one of the really lovely team in the shop all doing their bit to Stand Up to Cancer and they’d love your help to reach their goal.

Business partners Manali and Vivek have opened their doors to coconchoux so we popped in for a coffee and a choux bun and it was SUCH a treat!
(We went for a raspberry choux bun and would highly recommend!)

Vivek has been a pastry chef for 27 years working at The Berkeley Hotel, Lancaster Hotel, One Aldwych and many more reputable venues and pours all of his skill and expertise into their Eclairs, Choux Buns, Paris Brests and Chocolate Brownies which are all made on site.

Manali is front of house and so excited to meet the community and introduce you to their beautiful pastries, In-House Sandwiches and Brazilian Coffee (chosen to complement their desserts).

Their opening hours:

Weekdays - 7.30am - 5.30pm
Weekends - 8.30am - 5pm

You can find them at 467 Upper Richmond Road West, SW14 7PU.

They are also looking for a part time Barista - we don’t have too many details but pop in and see Manali if you’d like to know more.

East Sheen Village is delighted to be working alongside the Hare & Hounds once again to bring you the East Sheen Halloween Hunt on Saturday 24 October 2026.

The Hare & Hounds generously sponsors and supports much of the event, as well as providing the starting and finishing point for all the Halloween fun!

Always a sell-out and one of our most popular events of the year, the Halloween Hunt brings families, local businesses and the whole community together for a frightfully fun day around East Sheen.

Collect your Halloween Hunt Map from the Hare & Hounds before setting off to discover letters hidden in participating businesses, pick up plenty of treats and uncover the secret phrase. Then return to the pub to claim your prize!

There will also be face painting, spooky visitors and more Halloween fun throughout the day.
Choose from two hunt times:
🎃 10am–12pm
👻 1pm–3pm

Families and groups should book the same time slot if they would like to complete the hunt together.
