❤️🐾 **Thank you, everyone. Astra is home.** 🐾❤️

We are delighted to share that Astra is now safely home with her family and the following statement and request (please read):

The support over the last few days has been truly overwhelming. From sharing posts and checking CCTV, to searching parks, putting up posters, speaking to neighbours and spreading the word, this community has been absolutely incredible.

**A few final requests:**

✅ If you shared a missing post on social media, local Facebook groups, WhatsApp groups, Nextdoor or elsewhere, please update it to say that Astra has been found or remove it entirely.

✅ If you see any Astra posters still up, please take them down where possible.

✅ If you contacted local organisations, businesses, vets, rescues, schools, sports clubs or community groups, please let them know that Astra is now home safe.

✅ Please help spread the good news far and wide so that everyone knows the search is over.

Most importantly, thank you! South West London, and far beyond, came together in an extraordinary way.

Astra’s family and the team spearheading the search will never forget the kindness, generosity and determination shown by so many people.

The family are hugely grateful and are now taking some well-earned time to enjoy having Astra safely back where she belongs.

✨ Have You Seen the artwork on Mortlake Station Footbridge? ✨

This inspiring installation was created through a collaboration between Southeast Communities Rail Partnership, Thomson House School and RHACC (Richmond and Hillcroft Adult and Community College).

The artwork began with 21 drawings by children from Thomson House School, capturing their impressions of East Sheen, before being brought to life with pen and colour by RHACC artists, tutors and students.

The Garden Market at The Hare and Hounds is THIS SATURDAY 6th June!

We hope you’ll be able to find a moment to drop in between 10am and 1pm and meet the exciting mix of almost 20 local enterprises that will have stalls.

Each offers something lovely, helpful, inspiring, thoughtful… a truly wonderful range of gorgeous products and services.

Many of our vendors run small businesses from home in and around East Sheen so it’s a great opportunity for you to meet and chat to them face-to-face and discover their products and services.

There is something for everyone of every age and we’d love to see you! Come along and support these passionate businesses and enjoy a great community event.

‼️ Would you know what to do if someone went into cardiac arrest? Knowing where East Sheen’s 17 defibrillators are located is a good start and could save a life ❤️

This week is National CPR and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) Week, a good time to remind ourselves about these life-saving devices.

❤️ East Sheen has 17 defibrillators or AEDs, life-starting devices that can restore a person’s heart rhythm when in cardiac arrest.

Defibrillators are very safe, tell you exactly what to do, and you don’t need specific training to use one.

Plus, these machines are super clever and analyse the person’s heart, only delivering a shock if the heart has actually stopped.

In the event of cardiac arrest, immediate action is needed and a nearby defibrillator could save the person’s life.

🍷The 6th Element café/winebar/cocktail bar at 395 Upper Richmond Road W is due to open on the 10 June .sixth.element.210

🍇We also hear that these former sites will soon have new businesses:
• Privett Windows (403 Upper Richmond Rd W) to reopen as a cake shop
• Jade Boulangerie (313 Upper Richmond Road W) to be an independent Italian restaurant.
