Big shout out to Christian Lundin and Steven Richardson for producing such an awesome golf course and experience. Unbeatable. Big thanks to our team for their incredible work. Shindig: 125 year anniversary golf day at the superb today. Absolute privilege to be invited and participate in this wonderful event. Great job to GM Marcus, Head Pro Ian and Course Manager Grant who had the course and greens in impeccable shape. We are honoured to be the consulting architect to this timeless Willie Park Jnr gem. Here’s to the next 125 years. Tim L and Gareth in attendance.

GROWING THE TEAM
As our project portfolio has expanded, we have continued to grow the Lobb + Partners team.

In 2026, Niall Glen joined the practice as a Consulting Golf Course Architect, adding further design capability to the team and supporting our work across new-build and Master Planning projects. Niall has previously worked with esteemed architecture firms Harradine Golf, David McLay Kidd and Kimber Glen International

Growth for us is not simply about becoming a larger practice. We want to retain the personal approach that has always been central to L+P, with our architects closely involved throughout the design process and spending time on site as projects progress from initial ideas through design and construction.

Adding to the team gives us greater flexibility to work across a growing international portfolio while maintaining that level of involvement.

We are delighted to have Niall on board and look forward to continuing to develop the team further as the practice and its international workload evolve.

Next stop on the links weekend was the curious and fascinating Rye Golf Club In East Sussex, 1.5 hour drive South of Princes GC. Holes playing along, up to and over the linear dune through the site offers endless interest to the golfing journey. Golden fairways and rough provided the ultimate textures in the setting sun. What a weekend of golf. Topped off by one of the best lunches in golf. Thank you to my hosts. Tim L

Great weekend of Links Golf. First stop Prince's Golf Club in Kent. Played Himalayas and Shore. Both fantastic links strategies and solid layouts. Played the Shore in the low sun which was an absolute treat. Loved the bunker detailing on The Shore very much (pictured). Dinner and accommodation at The Lodge topped off a superb day one. 🇬🇧 Great to have North American Partner (Alex Hay) over in the UK. On the hottest May day on record we decided to play the glorious where we spent the last two winters rebuilding the bunkering to the distinct vintage styling. Superb shaping works by and grow in by Tom and the greenkeeping team. So awesome to be a part of such a passionate team and forward thinking club. Thanks to Gareth Williams on our team as well. 🇫🇮 Had a great site visit to in Finland last week. Our new nine hole extension is going very well. Detailed shaping occurring to many holes and looking great amongst the natural setting. Should be a fun to course to play. Great job all onsite. Great collaboration with .kari —- Tim L
