Behind every compliant lift is an engineer who knows exactly what to look for.

At Apex, our engineers are trained to understand insurance requirements inside and out. When an inspector raises items that need rectifying, our team gets to work with the skill and attention to detail the job demands.

It’s this level of care and consistency that gives our customers confidence and helps keep their buildings safe.

Yesterday, we held our second quarter review, and it was great to reflect on how far we’ve come since the start of the year.

The first half of the year has been a strong one for Apex, with a number of positive wins and changes that we’ve embraced and are making good progress on.
Our focus remains on improving our customer experience by delivering consistent, high‑quality service.

Well done to everyone who has contributed to the progress we’ve made so far.

We’re looking forward to building on this and continuing the momentum through the second half of 2026.

Celebrating 30 Years of Service – Tom hambrook

This month, we took the time to celebrate Tom Hambrook, who first joined as an apprentice back in 1996. Since then, he has gone on to qualify as an engineer and spent years on the tools before eventually moving into the office to lead our Construction Sales.

For three decades, he has been a hugely valued member of the construction team, sales team and the wider Apex Lifts community, playing a key role in shaping the business into what it is today.

Congratulations, Tom, on this remarkable milestone. We look forward to many more successes ahead!

Do you know about scenic lift modernisation?

Scenic lifts are designed to provide passengers with wide views during travel.

Because of their open or glass design, they require a different approach to enclosed shaft passenger lifts when it comes to modernisation, maintenance, and refurbishment.

Book a call with our team to learn how we can support your scenic lift modernisation.

Leaving insurance rectification items unaddressed isn't just a compliance issue, it can have real consequences for your building and the people in it.

Unresolved items can affect your insurance policy, create liability risks, and in serious cases, impact the safe operation of your lift.

At Apex, we treat every item raised by an insurance inspector with urgency. Our Insurance Coordinator oversees all LOLER reports and ensures they are dealt with promptly and effectively.

We carry out rectification works thoroughly and keep a clear record of everything completed, so you're fully protected.

If your lift has outstanding insurance items, now is the time to address them.
