We’re pleased to announce Gemma Hargreaves promotion to Head of Customer Service at Pendle Doors.

Having previously held the role of Administrator, Gemma has consistently demonstrated professionalism, dedication, and a strong commitment to supporting both our team and customers. In her new position, she will lead our newly established Customer Service department, focused on delivering exceptional support to our clients, suppliers, and prospective customers at every stage of their journey with Pendle Doors.

Outside of work, Gemma enjoys swimming and spending quality time with her friends and family - something that reflects the warm and approachable nature she brings to the business every day.

Did you know?

Up to 75% of fire doors in UK buildings fail basic fire safety inspections, often due to issues like incorrect gaps, damaged seals, or faulty self-closing mechanisms.

In some housing sectors, recent studies have found that around 65% of communal and flat entrance fire doors do not meet required safety standards, meaning thousands of buildings may not be providing the fire protection they were designed for.

Fire doors are designed to hold back fire and smoke for at least 30 minutes (FD30 rating) - but even small defects can significantly reduce their performance.

A properly maintained communal fire doorset can be the difference between containment and rapid fire spread.
