A few weeks ago, someone messaged me after seeing one of my posts. ๐ฑ
Not to say hello. To tell me who I am.
Based on one post. Out of context. Read in about ten seconds.
Apparently they had me all figured out. ๐
I read it, felt that little flicker of "well that's not fair"...
And then got on with my afternoon.
A few years ago, I'd have sat with that for hours. Maybe longer.
Wondering if there was something to it. Whether other people saw me the same way. Whether I needed to do something about it.
This time? It just... passed.
And that difference says a lot about what actually separates business owners who keep moving forward from those who plateau.
It's not luck. It's not connections. It's not having an easier run of things.
It's how they're built to respond to what happens.
A bad month for one owner becomes a story about why things never work out.
For another, it's one slow month in an otherwise reasonable run. Filed away. Moved past.
The events aren't that different. โ๏ธ
What's different is the internal operating system processing them.
And here's the part that matters most:
That operating system isn't fixed. ๐
The qualities that let some owners keep moving through exactly the same conditions that stall others?
They can be built. Deliberately. Gradually. Regardless of where you're starting from.
A settled sense of self. Resilience. Consistency.
Not personality traits you were either born with or weren't. Built through repetition, in fairly ordinary ways, by anyone willing to put the building blocks in place. Which is exactly what this week's blog is about. ๐
If you've ever wondered why some weeks feel solid and others fall apart for no clear reason, or why progress doesn't always show up the way you'd expect, even when you're putting in the effort, this one's for you.
