As the weather has improved, we are venturing back outside for our first outdoor networking session of the year. We will have a back up venue just in case the weather turns though.

✨ A Little Catch-Up & January Round-Up ✨

Apologies for the radio silence — January absolutely flew by!

I’ve been head-down, fully immersed in supporting other people’s businesses and not had a chance to think about my own 🙈

Here’s a snapshot of what January looked like behind the scenes:

📝 Transcribing minutes from HR meetings, handling sensitive conversations with care and confidentiality

📅 Supporting a Managing Director with his weekly schedule, helping him balance priorities while running multiple businesses (I love organising people!)

🏢 Researching different types of commercial leases and pulling together a clear recommendation for a client

📄 Submitting a tender framework application for a tradesman looking to scale their business - exciting times ahead!

⚙️ Reviewing back-office processes for another client and proposing improvements to ways of working and efficiencies (one of my favourite things to do)

No wonder January disappeared in a blur!

February is looking just as busy with more minute taking, plenty of personal life admin (I love organising other people’s lives… my own, not so much) and hopefully some time to catch some of the Winter Olympics on TV — particularly the snowboarding! 🏂❄️

This week has been a great reminder of why I love the variety that comes with the work I do.

⚙️For one of my charity clients, I began setting up a task management system to improve organisation and efficiency, making use of automations to help streamline their day-to-day operations.

🤝I hosted my business networking meeting, and as always, it was energising to connect with local business owners. The conversations and stories shared were particularly interesting this month. It’s amazing how much you can learn simply by listening to others’ experiences.

📑I met with a new client to discuss a potential tender opportunity, which has since led to submitting a proposal for further support - excited to see where this partnership might go!

🗂 Alongside that, I’ve continued overseeing a wider project management programme for another client, monitoring progress across several operational workstreams - exactly the kind of detailed, structured work I love getting stuck into.

🏠 And on the home front, I’ve been managing a very different kind of project - the replacement of our conservatory roof! Monday’s weather certainly kept things interesting, but I’m pleased to say we’ve stayed on track and are finishing the week right on schedule.

Here’s to another week of balancing business and life - and making steady progress in both.
