Several of our BNI Nexus members were delighted to support Gemma and the Montrose Community Trust team at their awards ceremony on Friday at The Montrose Playhouse.

It was a lovely opportunity to celebrate the outstanding volunteers whose time, energy and care make the Trust’s work possible.

Montrose Community Trust plays a vital role in building a healthier, stronger and more connected local community. From football programmes for children and adults of all abilities to support for people experiencing social isolation, mental health challenges or the effects of dementia, their work touches so many lives.

Congratulations to all the award winners, and thank you to everyone who gives their time to make a difference in our community.

From Inverbervie to a national awards shortlist!⚡️

We're delighted to be finalists for 'Scottish Family Business of the Year' at The Herald Scottish Family Business Awards 2026!

For the past 11 years, our family-run business has helped homeowners and businesses across the North East keep things running, power new projects and take more control of their energy bills, through electrical work, solar panels, battery storage and EV chargers. 🔌

🎉 Heads, tails and a win for Tracy! 🎉

It’s not all business at BNI Nexus Montrose. We always round off our meeting with a wee game of heads and tails, and this week Tracy was our last member standing! 👏

There’s a small prize for the winner, with the rest of the money collected for charity. A little fun on a Friday morning that adds up to something good. 💛

Building relationships, supporting businesses and giving back to our community. That’s the spirit of our chapter.

🏆 This week’s Oscar goes to Mark Ruxton! 🏆

After three years with BNI Nexus Montrose, Mark has picked up his very first win for his 45 second presentation! 👏

Mark shared a glimpse of a busy week, including covering staff sickness and keeping things moving. It says a lot about the hard work and commitment he consistently brings to his business.

A good man who quietly gets on with the job, Mark is a valued member of our chapter, and it’s lovely to see him have his moment in the spotlight.

Four years of hard work, growing a business and supporting clients alongside studying have led to an incredible achievement: a BSc (Hons) in Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation with FIRST CLASS HONOURS! 👏🌟

Balancing assignments, exams and a dissertation with running NatEase took real determination, and we’re delighted to celebrate this special milestone with our fellow BNI Nexus Montrose member.

Being part of BNI means cheering each other on, both in business and in the personal achievements that mean so much.
